QUALIFICATIONS

·       University degree in an engineering discipline

·       Minimum 7 years Contract Management experience in a multi-discipline project organisation, preferably in Oil & Gas,

·       Excellent command of written and spoken English,

·       Proven background in technical project management to include practical and legal application of technical documentation,

·       The ability to draft, alter and draw up numerous contracts.

·       Experience/knowledge with contract preparation, negotiation, tendering and award procedures.

·       Extensive experience in supervising projects to make sure that the contract terms address all of the client’s requirements.

·       Having detailed knowledge within the engineering, construction and contracting business is a must, as it helps in identifying problems, and contributing to solutions related to the project.

·       Site experience in construction projects of refinery/oil terminals is preferred.

·       Good commercial acumen and also a good understanding of preparing contracts and sub-contracts.

·       Comfortable with working to tight deadlines,

·       Ability to share the knowledge and experience with the team members,

·       Completed military service for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·       We are searching for a Contracts Coordinator that will be responsible for preparing, planning and directing the administration of all contracts, subcontracts and change orders from pre-award phase to closeout and all associated terms and conditions. The selected candidate will perform the Contracts and Subcontracts Administration.

·       To prepare and review contracts,

·       To review and provide expert advice on contractual matters, agreements of all kinds, contracts, tenders, risks, claims, disputes, and all issues that are governed by contract with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, partners and inter-office entities.

·       Responsible for the correct and efficient management of all project related claims to ensure all claims are appropriately managed to deliver the best commercial outcome

·       Preparation, coordination, issue and administration of Claims and Time Extensions with ability to analyse and report various attributes such as, progress, contract variation and claims status,

·       To develop improved contracting procedures, standard documentation, processes, and training materials.

·       To develop and implement standard contract documentation for proposals, agreement and contractual correspondence of all nature in accordance with terms and conditions of contracts during their currency.

·       To report and advice on contractual issues pre and post contract.

·       To provide advices and directs as appropriate on all matters of contract administration
