Compliance Officer

We are looking for a “Compliance Officer” for our Group of Companies HQ Office in Istanbul, with the following,

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from the relevant departments,
• 3+ years of satisfactory experience in Compliance or related fields,
• Conducting regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law / procedures / regulations, 
• Analytical thinking and ability, and strong communication skills,
• Legal and moral integrity, strategic thinking and management experience,
• Good command of verbal and written English,
• Strong analytical skills and be able to identify trends and weaknesses and to recommend/take measures,

The ideal candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Monitoring all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards,
• Managing information flow by researching, recording and analysing data and information. With a regular flow of information and conducting compliance risk assessments, they ensure that the business runs smoothly,
• Training and educating staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines,
• Acting as contact person and liaison between department heads and senior management,
• Following OFAC sanctions lists and bulletins and taking necessary actions in accordance with our company's policies,
• Ensuring that the sanctions policy is constantly kept up to date,
• Collaboration with sustainability department for the governance part of related sustainability indices.
