Design Team Leader

We are looking for "Design Team Leader” to join our team for Apparel Circular Knit Garments and Fabrics.

The successful candidate will lead the team but will also work hands on with his/her technical design experience by maintaining high level of knowledge in materials, textiles, components and technologies in the marketplace and consistent ability to create new models. 

QUALİFİCATİONS

• University or College degree in Textile Apparel or Industrial Design - or - College Degree with 2+ additional years’ relevant design experience highly preferred.
• 10+ years design experience in the menswear, womenswear and kidswear required.
• Working knowledge of personal computers with demonstrated experience in the use of such programs as: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Word, Excel, Outlook and WebPLM.
• Highly developed drawing skills required.
• Expertise in garment construction required.
• Knowledge of extended fabric required
• Knowledge of patterns and textiles required.
• Design center management experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively with patternmakers and technicians required.
• Experience working with jersey preferred.
• Highly skilled in basic stitch, sewing, and new and innovative constructions preferred.
• Experience in 3D software & design a plus.
