What You Will Need to Be Successful
- Great enthusiasm for working on powertrain and vehicle engineering fields.
- Graduated from Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Control and Electronics Engineering Department of a reputable university
- Fluency in English
- A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, output-oriented, and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature.
- Willingness to travel (domestic & worldwide)
- Strong background in at least one of the following: internal combustion engines, hybrid powertrains or fuel cell control systems
- Experience in one of the following control units: ECU, HCU, FCCU, DCU, VCU or TCU
- Proficiency in powertrain/vehicle testing, calibration, data acquisition, analysis, and reporting
- Know-how of using calibration tools (ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, Vector CANape/CANalyzer).
- Experience in vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
- B-class driving license
The following are not required but are a plus:
- Fluency in German language
- PhD or MSc level in related engineering fields
- Racing team members of reputable universities
- Experience of testing in MiL/SiL/HiL environments
- Knowledge of controls theory & experience in model-based controls software development with MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, V-Cycle development process
- Experience with software configuration management and version control software (TortoiseSVN, Git, etc.)
What Will You Work On
- Developing and validating calibrations on diesel/gasoline/hydrogen/CNG/LNG/LPG engines, aftertreatment systems, hybrid powertrains, and fuel cell control systems
- Calibrating model-based controls algorithms in MiL/SiL/HiL/Dyno/Vehicle environments
- Execution of appropriate test plans and data analysis
- Execution (or coordination) of tests for validation and calibration development
- Participation in domestic and worldwide test drives
