Qualifications

• Great enthusiasm for working on powertrain and vehicle engineering fields.

• Graduated from Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Control and Electronics Engineering Department of a reputable university
• Fluency in English
• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, output-oriented, and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature.
• Willingness to travel (domestic & worldwide)
• Strong background in at least one of the following: internal combustion engines, hybrid powertrains or fuel cell control systems
• Experience in one of the following control units: ECU, HCU, FCCU, DCU, VCU or TCU
• Extensive knowledge in controls theory & hands-on experience in model-based controls software development with MATLAB/Simulink
• Testing know-how in MiL/SiL/HiL environments
• Experience with software configuration management and version control software (TortoiseSVN, Git, etc.)

The following are not required but are a plus:

• B-class driving license
• Fluency in German language
• PhD or MSc level in related engineering fields
• Racing team members of reputable universities
• Know-how of using calibration tools (ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, Vector CANape/CANalyzer).
• Experience of high-level programming languages such as C/C++ and Python

Job Description

• Identification and management of functional requirements at system and/or component level
• Developing algorithms for diesel/gasoline/hydrogen/CNG/LNG/LPG engines, aftertreatment systems, hybrid powertrains, and fuel cell control systems
• Designing, implementing, testing, & documenting of new control software features
• Preparing initial calibration of newly developed controls software
• Work in parallel with the calibration team for issue resolution and continuous functional improvements
• Proficiency in AUTOSAR, ASPICE, V-Cycle development process
• Know-how of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
