Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and operational activities, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective execution of day-to-day operations.

The role will be responsible for operational performance, 3PL and supplier management, team leadership, and continuous improvement across logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Supplier Management

• Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including goods receipt, storage, inventory, loading/unloading, and shipments.
• Ensure accurate and efficient material and information flows across operational processes.
• Manage all service providers and logistics suppliers, monitoring service levels, KPIs, quality, and costs.
• Evaluate supplier performance, drive corrective actions, and identify alternative suppliers where required.
• Coordinate activities across different locations and ensure process consistency.
• Review and validate operational and logistics invoices against agreed terms.

Performance, Improvement & Compliance

• Define and monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, process efficiency, and cost performance.
• Lead operational cost analyses and implement sustainable cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with established processes and systems.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.

Team & Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and develop the operations team, ensuring clear responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Provide coaching, training and regular performance feedback.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations management.
• Proven experience in 3PL and supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, distribution, and logistics processes.
• Experience with KPI management, continuous improvement, and cost optimization.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and relevant legislation.
