Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Riding Team Coordinator to support our operations team in Istanbul.
This position is suitable for a new graduate or a candidate with limited work experience who is willing to learn and develop in the marine repair and service industry.
The main responsibility of this role is to follow up the riding teams/fitter teams attending vessels and to support the coordination process between the team, the vessel and the client.
The candidate will be responsible for collecting and organizing personnel documents, following up the team during vessel attendance, preparing simple reports based on the information received from the vessel, and supporting timesheet/payment calculations.
This is an office-based position located on the Asian side of Istanbul.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow up riding team/fitter team attendance on vessels.
- Collect and organize personnel documents.
- Communicate with riding team members during the operation.
- Support communication between the vessel, client and internal team.
- Follow up daily job updates received from the vessel/team.
- Prepare simple operation reports.
- Prepare personnel timesheets.
- Support calculation of working hours and payable amounts.
- Keep operation files and documents organized.
- Assist the operations team with daily follow-up tasks.
Qualifications
- New graduate or preferably 0–1 year of work experience.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Able to communicate with international clients in a professional manner.
- Interested in marine, ship repair or technical service operations.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Organized, careful and willing to learn.
- Able to use MS Office programs, especially Excel.
- Responsible and team-oriented.
- Residing on the Asian side of Istanbul or able to commute to the office.
- Available for full-time office-based work.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated and organized teammate who is willing to learn the basics of marine operations and support the coordination of riding teams attending vessels. The role does not require deep technical knowledge, but it requires good communication, attention to detail and regular follow-up.
