Senior Big Data Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related departments,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field
• Experience on relation database administration is a plus
• Experience on at least one of these programming languages: Java; Python; Scala,
• Experience on SQL language and ETL's,
• Knowledge of NOSQL databases: HBase; Cassandra (preferred); MongoDB is a plus
• Working with Big Data environment such as Hadoop; Spark; Flink; Kafka will be plus,
• Knowledge on basic Operating Systems’ commands (Unix, Linux),
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken,
• No military obligation for male candidates or postponed for at least 2 years.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• NoSQL(MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchBase) Database Administration Design and develop big data solutions using open-source technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB,Kafka etc),
• Contribute to R&D projects,
• Implement projects and give support on customer specific big data tools,
• On-site visit to customers for consultancy if needed,
• Manage customer support cases on a daily basis, including verifying cases, isolating and diagnosing the problem, and resolving the issue,
• Troubleshoot areas of poor performance and identify effective solutions to resolve issues,
• Has good communication and reasoning skills, including the ability to make a strong case for technology choices.
