Role Summary/Purpose:

The Shift Leader will perform a variety of duties, to include: Being responsible for planning, following up production processes in the production line and being sure production cost effectiveness, arranging schedules, maintaining equipment, managing with other departments, and applying company procedures and policies, should demonstrate leadership, multitasking, communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy and strategic planning.

Essential Responsibilities:

•Actively support and engage in all HSE activity to achieve excellence in productivity, quality, and EHS, company policies, procedures and statutory requirements to ensure staff are fully compliant as well as developing and maintain a safe workplace for all employees and contractors, •Follow work instructions and quality specifications throughout the different processes of SPT production. •Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, •Support new processes and methods to improve safety, reduce product cost and improve product quality for on time delivery, •Follow the work instructions without deviation to ensure quality and accuracy compliance, •Actively communicate and support daily production goals, •Partner with team members to support best practices on the shop floor, •Actively participate and understand the use visual boards at the start/middle/end of shift, •Perform the daily operations of production line to ensure reliability and consistency on it, •Always think automate and efficient, •Strive to drive down delivery times: reducing delivery times as reduced delivery time equals contented clients and improved efficiency, •Ensure 100% compliance to Quality Control & Quality Assurance, •Direct the production strategy to maintain maximum throughput of the pipe completion area in line with lean manufacturing best practice principles & Brilliant Factory initiatives including Digital, •Ensure all employees are trained & competent for all tasks undertaken, •In collaboration with the projects and engineering function, create and implement best-in-class design to manufacture and change management processes, •Ensures lessons-learnt are captured, •Motivate and effectively performance manage Team within the account to ensure delivery of overall targets and business plan, •Lead the implementation of tooling, fixtures, process material specifications, quality control plans, & work instructions to deliver a comprehensive manufacturing process that meets engineering design requirements and can be scaled to large volume production, •Drive operator training & qualification, Bonus Target Information - IFG GE Renewable Energy •Provide technical leadership for the production team, •Understand and state necessary equipment-tools at standard and support for defining manufacturing standards to keep capability or make better enhancement, •Attend to providing manufacturing documentation to shop floor, including product routings, packaging method, •Give contribution to productivity and participate in LAWO projects, •Support Lean Leader on driving the lean program for the unit.

Qualifications/Requirements:

 •A relentless orientation towards safety and quality, •KPIs, •Knowledge of Lean Principles, •On-time delivery, •No slippage on project budget, •Good verbal, written, numerical and analytic skills, with the ability to present information, •Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects, •Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs, •Working knowledge of Windows software Inc. Outlook, Excel and Word, •Able to determine and improve process problems, •Ability to motivate, develop and manage people, •Ability to lead and influence in matrix environment •Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, •Experience of report writing and data analysis, •Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, •Established project management skills, •Have a proven ‘can-do’ orientation to work with demonstrable problem-solving skills, •Broad competence in interacting with Manufacturing organizations, •Ability to read, write, and comprehend applicable information (i.e., written instructions, procedures/specifications that apply to daily work operations, etc.), •Ability to make quick decisions and willingness to act on those decisions, •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical (preferable), Electrical(preferable) or Industrial Engineering or Technical High School, •Strong oral and written communication skills both Turkish and English (preferable), •Min. 7+ year experience in energy sector, transformer business is preferred, •Min. 5+ years of experience in Operation Management
