Sourcing Process Compliance Leader

This role presents a unique opportunity to lead the Global Hydro Sourcing Processes landscape as well as drive Compliance within Sourcing Community.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define, update and monitor all sourcing operational processes and procedures. This includes Commodity Management, Procurement, Transport and Logistics and Customs.
• Ensure compliance with the Sourcing Enterprise Standards and internal sourcing policies and implement necessary processes and controls to ensure compliance
• Work with Controllership and Operations to ensure strong controls and establish review process
• Execute testing & monitoring routines of key compliance controls within Sourcing to assess program effectiveness as well as audit management
• Develop compliance training/communications plan and relevant materials for the Sourcing functions and drive execution through regional teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance in the jurisdictions where GE Hydro operates
• Lead processes simplification though LEAN via Kaizen events to drive productivity

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• At least 10 years of related work experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain,Operations, Compliance and/or Auditing
• Experience in Quality or Business System Management and Lean
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a global environment and matrix organization
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
