QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
we are looking for a "AGRO TRADER"
· Master/ Bachelor's degree with specialization in agronomy, engineering, finance & economics, business, applied sciences
· A first experience of 3-4 years is preferred (a person who build his own business, or finance experience with strong commercial attitude, etc.)
· Strong entrepreneurial approach to taking initiatives
· At ease with numbers
· Able to manage a certain level of complexity
· Very good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to inspire confidence and trust
· Ability to analyze supply, demand and trade flow fundamentals
· At ease with numbers
· Accomodating in İstanbul
· Fluent in English, Mother tongue is Turkish
İŞ TANIMI
· Market intelligence: gather and feed the Grains platforms with local market information (supply, demand, prices, competition, trends), participation to the debate about market data and balance sheet with colleagues during Platform calls
· Promote products to the clients
· Maintain and participate to develop customer relations on a countrywide basis: understand client's needs and answer to these needs in a commercial manner, sustain the relationships with the key customers through commercial actions (provide market advice, visit clients, etc.)
· Deploy agreed positions, negotiate and manage the trades (re-assess and adjust if necessary), close discussions and secure conditions (financing structure) and contracts; identify potential issues early and address them to minimize damage.
· Oversee and coordinate execution of the transactions until fulfillment control of possible demurrage, inventory management, invoice payments, risk exposure etc.)
· Liaise with Credit Risk about allowing advantageous financing plans for local clients
· Build and maintain customer database compiling data about clients and their businesses
· Analyze sales and segment customers
· Start to identify potential new trade flows and customers; work on ways to initiate/increase business with customers and suppliers (including participation to trade shows and industry groups)
