General Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation or related field 
• Master's degree in engineering management or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in an engineering management role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must have experience in industrial engineering and continuous improvement practices.
• Knowledge of feasibility studies, control design processes is highly desirable.
• Responsible for the design and manufacture of moulds, particularly for automotive projects.
• Proven experience and motivation in an industrial plant environment.
• Proven ability to build strong links between production and quality teams.
• The Engineering Manager will have strong leadership skills.
• Must be ready to work to tight deadlines.
• Willing to be 'hands on' and have a high shop floor presence.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.

Job Description:

• Manage projects within budget and time constraints from RFQ stage to SOP.
• Listing of required equipment, defining specifications and preparing RFQ files with all associated documentation.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables.
• Analyse customer technical data, prepare feasibility reports and participate in the submission of proposals to customers.
• Lead and participate in design activities and prioritise projects.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support during project implementation phases
• Apply and identify standard design practices that are highly repeatable and cost effective.
• Design assembly processes and layouts.
• Perform fault analysis and find solutions to technical problems.
• Liaise with suppliers/tool makers to ensure jigs and fixtures are manufactured correctly and on time.
• Update jig drawings, revision levels and documentation when changes are made to jigs and fixtures.
• Continuously improve the serial production of assembly, carbon, welding and CNC production process mechanisms.
