Financial Controlling Chief

We are looking for a teammate to work as the Financial Controlling Chief in our Finance team our multinational company working in the automotive sub-industry sector. This position will report directly to the Turkey CFO and is expected to participate in global work with the overseas head office. 

Job Description

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support company goals.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability.
• Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Lead a team of finance professionals and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
• Assist in financial audits and reporting to stakeholders.
• Support the Adm&Control Management in supervising the planning and control process 
• Variances analysis from the targets and detection of the most suitable corrective actions 
• Provide continuous analysis of performance against budget/forecast and actual results, promoting corrective actions in the critical assigned areas, minimizing, if needed, the deviations from the budget/forecast and pointing out potential critical business issues.
• Drive cost efficiency actions and processes within the organization for the assigned business area, monitoring spending records and identifying measures for budgetary control.
• Act as a business partner with the top management of the assigned business area, spreading the economic and financial culture across the organization, contributing to the achievement of the department/group objectives.

Requirements

• University degree preferably in Business, Economics and Industrial Engineering departments and related departments.
• Strong experience (minimum 5-6 years) in especially controlling,budget & financial plans.
• Fluent in English (writing, listening, speaking).
• Good knowledge of SAP related modules.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and High Inflation Accounting (IAS 29)
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (especially  Excel).
• Excellent management and communication skills
