A German-Turkish company is looking for a skilled thermo-mechanical engineer for the projects of the engineering company in Istanbul, European side.We are seeking a committed, long term employee capable of working on all stages of our production cycles, from research and design to manufacturing, installation and evaluation and in return, there will be sufficient opportunity to further develop your skills and grow with this company.

Job description

Designing, manufacturing, and installing components that fulfill requirements.

Developing engineered solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate to extreme scope and complexity across relevant engineering disciplines.

Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.

Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.

Creating plans and designs using CAD technology. (2D/3D CAD/Solidworks drawings)

Producing technical/manufacturing drawings.

Estimating budgets and time scopes for each project.

Writing technical documentation for machine operators.

Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations.

Collaborating with project managers and other engineers in our team.

Communicating project status, design reviews and prepare presentations

Liaising with suppliers and customers on design, production, system commission and technical support

General Qualifications

To graduate from Mechanical Engineering departments of universities or vocational schools,

Knowledge in thermo mechanic systems,energy production and distribution 

5 years of experience in projects including heating and cooling systems and gas distribution

5 years of experience in project management

Able to use informatics tools

Experience in renewables (Biomass and geothermal will be preferred )

Superior computer skills, with solid experience in CAD, CAM, and Matlab/LabView programs

Proficiency in Solidworks is essential, and experience in sheet metal work is an advantage,

Having the ability to think analytically,

Demonstrate strong time management skills,

Being open to professional development,

To show a tendency to cooperation and teamwork,

To be able to produce a solution in the face of the problem,

Demonstrate effective communication skills,

Good knowledge of English and German,

Having no restriction to travel (abroad travels will be often)
