QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a "Project Engıneer" to serve in our company, which operates in the automotive sector and aims to become a leader in the international market with its growing organization

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive industry project management with OEM or Tier-1 customers
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 requirements and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)
• Hands-on experience in APQP phases (Plan & Define, Product Design, Process Design, Validation, Launch)
• Experienced in PPAP (Level 3+), PSW submission, IMDS, Run@Rate and Safe Launch processes
• Knowledge of AIAG-VDA PFMEA (2019 harmonized approach), Control Plan and Process Flow Diagram preparation and synchronization
• Experience in MSA (GRR, Bias, Linearity, Stability) andSPC (Cp, Cpk, Ppk) studies
• Solid understanding of machining, metal forming, heat treatment and surface coating processes
• Knowledge of CNC machines and cutting tool technologies; capable of selecting tools according to process requirements
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and GD&T (ISO 1101)
• Familiar with DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing feasibility analysis
• Experienced in problem-solving methodologies such as8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment
• Advanced written and spoken English (capable of conducting technical meetings and presentations)
• Proficient in at least one CAD software (Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks or similar)
• Strong analytical thinking, structured working discipline, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of laboratory and test equipment (metrology, functional testing)
• Valid driving license (Class B) and active driver
• Completed military service for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Project Management & APQP

• Lead and manage the APQP process for new product development projects
• Prepare and monitor project timing plans and customer milestones
• Conduct project risk assessments based on risk-based thinking methodology
• Manage engineering changes (ECR/ECN) and change management processes

2. Manufacturing Feasibility & Process Design

• Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA) analyses during quotation stage
• Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagram (PFD), PFMEA, and Control Plan in a synchronized structure
• Identify Special Characteristics (CC/SC) and define process control strategies
• Plan and execute process validation and capability studies prior to serial production

3. Prototype & PPAP Management

• Coordinate prototype, pilot production and industrialization activities
• Conduct Run@Rate and capacity verification studies
• Prepare and submit complete PPAP documentation package to customers and obtain PSW approval
• Plan and monitor Safe Launch activities

4. Serial Production & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor production KPIs such as OEE, PPM, Cp/Cpk, and lead efficiency improvement initiatives
• Actively participate in 8D teams to resolve internal and customer quality issues
• Maintain FMEA, Control Plan and related quality documents as living documents
• Manage customer notification and re-PPAP processes in case of engineering changes

5. Measurement & Testing Activities

• Plan, execute and report Functional Test Laboratory activities
• Define and commission required measurement devices, fixtures and test equipment for new products
• Organize and evaluate MSA studies to ensure measurement system reliability

6. Supplier Development Support

• Support supplier APQP and PPAP activities for purchased parts
• Evaluate supplier process capability
• Follow up supplier corrective actions within 8D methodology
