QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Glasstech Refractory, is a leading glass furnace contractor with over 24 years of experience and expertise in 11 countries. We specialize in various types of glass furnaces, including float, container, fiber, soda, and tableware, ranging from 50 to 1200 tons capacity. Our comprehensive services include cold repair, hot repair, glass to glass, turnkey furnace erection, and furnace steel procurement. At Glasstech Refractory, we prioritize safety and quality in all our projects, adhering to EU safety regulations and ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery to our customers.

We are looking for Civil Engineers who have graduated from engineering department of universities to employ in our Technical Office department.

Responsibilities:

• To participate in both domestic and international projects, take on the site management of our projects,
• Prepare and control all calculations, reports, design drawings, and details related to machine-equipment, steel structures, material handling systems, and mechanical process line projects,
• Manage all engineering processes from concept design, production to final implementation projects,
• Supervise and coordinate during assembly and commissioning activities, proactively evaluate the interaction of projects prepared by the design and engineering team with other disciplines,
• Follow up on national, international, and company specifications and regulations, make or commission changes when necessary, conduct research on new products, solutions, and technologies, and take action on their implementation,
• Receive offers related to construction works and machine-equipment procurements in our technical office department,
• Evaluate and interpret these offers, analyze the invitations to tender and technical specifications in detail, and prepare offers for our company.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from Civil Engineering department of universities
• Proficient in English and able to use it actively
• Familiar with iron steel and metallurgy machinery and equipment, with maintenance and repair experience
• Experience in projects where he/she took responsibility for steel, mechanical, and construction processes
• Able to use MS Office, MS Project, and necessary professional software
• Experience in project, subcontractor, and team management, able to manage a team in the field when necessary
• Team player and achievement-oriented
• Possess strong communication skills and high time management skills
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, results-oriented
• High emotional intelligence and proactive work approach
• Willing to travel both domestically and internationally
• Possess a driving license (Class B) and able to actively drive a vehicle
