Field Operations Supervisor

FIELD SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a Field Supervisor who will be responsible for the effective management of our field operations within a dynamic and innovative working environment. In this role, you will coordinate field teams and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will develop strategic solutions to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to continuous process improvement. You will also lead field teams through effective communication to ensure the achievement of operational objectives.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geological Engineering (applications from graduates of other departments will not be considered)
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Field Supervisor position
• Excellent command of English (applications from candidates who are not fluent and effective in spoken English will not be considered)
• Valid Class B driving licence
• Ability to adapt to field working conditions
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical-thinking abilities
• Detail-oriented and results-driven approach
• Strong teamwork and coordination skills
• Knowledge of project management and field operations

• Planning and managing field operations
• Coordinating, supervising and directing field teams
• Developing strategic solutions to achieve project objectives
• Implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of field operations
• Preparing operational reports and presenting them to senior management
• Ensuring that all field activities are carried out in compliance with occupational health and safety standards
• Monitoring project budgets and optimising costs
• Communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders to support the achievement of operational objectives
• Promoting collaboration and coordination among field teams
• Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and integrating them into field operations
