QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
The position is responsible for supply chain strategic initiatives for designing, implementing, and managing the integrated supply chain management system for Godiva TR. The individual will define and create mid to long-term supply chain strategies for Godiva TR, and align with the Company’s strategy to anticipate and facilitate the Company’s profitable growth and expansion. The responsibilities and the qualifications are mentioned below:
Requirements
- University degree preferably in business Administration/Engineering/International Trade/Logistics Departments
- Min.8 years supply chain experience, preferably gained from retail industry
- Excellent command of MS Office programs
- Broad supply chain operations background in forecasting, purchasing, and 3rd party warehouse logistics.
- Proficient in high level commercial negotiations and high level of commercial awareness
- Successful track record in leading and managing supply chain start-ups and transfers, both on and off-shore
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to details and accuracy and working under tight deadlines.
- High-energy, results oriented team player with superior communication skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and results-oriented operating environment.
- Fluency in English both written & spoken
- Should have no restriction for business travels
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage integrated business systems to enhance our supply chain management capabilities, including forecasting, importation, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, third party logistics and co-packer.
- Oversee forecasting and inventory control for Godiva TR to ensure the optimum stock level at warehouses and stores, to positively impact business performance.
- Develop and implement key metrics to measure forecast accuracy, inventory turn, stock obsolescence, service to the customers, product shortage/damage/returns, and third party performance.
- Identify and implement distribution and warehouse strategy to ensure the Company has future distribution capability to meet the business expansion needs.
- Improve and streamline processes and flows to increase the effectiveness and efficiency to enhance the supply chain capabilities and to reduce cost.
- Lead the procurement of direct and indirect spend and demand planning processes
- Run the tenders and taking an active role in the decision making
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement and execute effective sourcing
- Key stakeholder in the S&OP Process
- Work closely and collaboratively with Operations&Marketing&Finance teams.
