Ethanol Plant Lab Supervisor

1-    Ensure that all the daily, weekly, and monthly planned production targets in the Ethanol Plant all sections are achieved.

2-    Assist the Plant Manager in preparation of the operating and capital budgets.

3-    Assist the plant Manager in planning the weekly and annual preventative maintenance programmes.

4-    Lead & Monitor the Laboratory and follow all quality control & quality assurance as per design parameters and standards.

5-    Monitor the ethanol plant all sections samples(Fermentation, Distillation, Utilities, water &waste water treatment plant & boiler) and advice to concern section supervisors and follow up for performance & efficiency and take necessary and corrective action whenever a deviation from the set values takes place.

6-    Ensure that the Input (Raw materials), Output (Products& by products) & treated effluent disposal handling, storage & operation are performing efficiently and fulfil the standards.

7-    Monitor all rotating equipment and observe the performance of the equipment.

8-    Coordinate with the Ethanol plant all sections supervisors (Fermentation, Distillation, Utilities & boiler) to ensure a smooth daily ethanol production.

9-    Apply engineering expertise to solve production problems, and provide input to process improvements. This might include sizing of equipment, identifying equipment capacity requirements, developing process control systems, increasing efficiencies of the flow of fluid materials, etc.

10- Liaise with the Ethanol plant all sections supervisors for the daily, weekly, and annual maintenance of the station.

11- Ensure that the employees are adequately trained to perform their assigned work.

12- Ensure that all work is performed according to the safety and security measures.

13- Maintain a time keeping record for the staff.

14- Maintain production & plant efficiency records.

15- Get exposed to the installed equipment and modification of existing equipment, along with all of the inherent training and start up issues that must be addressed.
