Logistic Team Manager

We are looking for a Logistic Team Manager for our Supply Chain Team that is located in Cayirova/Kocaeli.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (a master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in logistic operations, warehouse management, inventory control or a similar field.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• In-depth knowledge of international logistic operations, warehouse operations, inventory management practices, and related software systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English.
• Experience with lean processes, Kanban methodology, or other process optimization frameworks is a significant advantage.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily logistic operations to ensure smooth workflows.
• Manage the logistic team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training and support.
• Coordinate shipment follow with the Forwarder Companies
• Conduct periodic stock takes (monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts) and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor goods receiving processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Organize the warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and ensure ease of access.
• Implement and manage Kanban methodology to streamline inventory control and operational workflows.
• Leading YYS Certificate (Autorized Economic Operator-AEO)
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
• Set and achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets, continuously analyzing KPIs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistic operations and efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed logistic performance reports to senior management.
• Address operational challenges proactively and develop effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Lead projects related to warehouse capacity expansion, system upgrades, or operational optimization.
