Automotive Software Test Team Leader

As an Automotive Software Test Team Leader in EE department you will be part of an engineering team that design, develop, enhance and validate electrified vehicles and their control systems. You will take role in managing team that designs test cases and validates processes, units, components and systems for projects based on microcars and electrical commercial light vehicles.

Your main role is leading and supporting technical parts as well as managing team for defining and following their daily and weekly targets based project milestones.

Your team is consisting of software test engineers that define test requirements and test scenarios, develop test cases and environments and validates and reports them on simulation, component and vehicle.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

• Planning project timeline with PMOs concerning team effort,
• Defining project deliverables and outputs,
• Organizing technical design review meetings with team,
• Organizing regular meetings with team for issues and project,
• Attending meetings with suppliers and customers,
• Leading test case development for EV control functions, components and systems,
• Leading test case development for EV control functions, components and systems,
  
• Managing testing requirement at system and/or component level,
• Leading test application SW, simulating and testing on different SW levels on different environments,
• Defining validation of functions and systems at vehicle level,
• Defining design and test plan that will cover regulations and standards,
• Performing correlation between simulation results and actual test results acquired by vehicle level tests,

• Following related regulations & standards and informing team,

• Supporting customer and other teams for SW related issues.

Qualifications

·         BS or higher degree in Electrical and Electronics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control, Aeronautical, Astronautical Engineering.

·         5+ experience in electrical vehicles, model based design & development or similar areas.

·         Ability to understand and resolve problems at both system and code level.

·         Experience on Model-in-the-Loop, Processor-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop is must.

·         Experience in Stateflow, Simulink Test, Simulink Check is a plus.

·         Ability to design mathematical models for electrical powertrain components & systems and for driver & vehicle to full electric or hybrid vehicles.

·         Hands-on experience with automotive related SW testing and tools

·         Experience on Matlab Simulink Environment is must,

·         Knowledge for hybrid and electric vehicles,

·         Knowledge for automotive electronics,

·         A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline, multi-project environment,

·         Knowledge about at least two of the following topics:

o   Experience on HIL systems like dSPACE, ETAS, Speedgoat, or similar.

o   Expertise in testing and analyze tools (Vector CANalyzer, CANoe or similar)

o   Software versioning and source control

o   Knowledge about E-drive control, power electronics and automotive electronics is a plus,

o   Communication buses such as CAN, LIN FlexRay, Ethernet etc. and their databases,

·         Self-motivation

·         Good communication skills,

·         Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English,

·         Ability to work in a team as well as autonomous,

·         Flexible for short trips abroad.
