Type Approval Engineer

We are looking for a Type Approval Engineer with the following specifications for our company that provides design and engineering services in the automotive industry for local and international platforms.

Qualifications

* Graduation from engineering fields (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automotive Engineering or Electric/Electronics Engineering),

* Very good command of English,

* Being result oriented, havinganalytical thinking,

* Being a good team worker, 

* Having a driver's license (B) and being able to actively drive, 

* Using MS office programs effectively, 

* Ability to travel abroad, 

* Residing in Istanbul Anatolian side or Kocaeli,  

Job Description

* Ensuring that vehicles, systems and components-parts comply with the relevant national/international legislation and/or regulations complying to the processes of Design, Manufacturing and in service as well as ELV-End of Life Vehicles,  

* Obtaining the Type Approval or Certification and updating the documents in accordance with the national / international legislation of the product, 

* Planning and coordinating the "Type Approval / Certification Tests" to be carried out in Turkey or abroad and determining the "worst case" test conditions and applying/executing the tests,

* Management of other relevant processes witihin scope of Type Approval (Homologation)

* Following the relevant UN ECE and EU Regulations, AITM, FMVSS and other national-international regulations and updates,

* Evaluating and interpreting the provisions of the relevant legislation and forming an opinion, 

* Supporting both COP - Conformity of Production and COC - Certficate Of Conformity processes, 

* Intercommunication with relevant test facilities, 

* Coordination with approval authorities and technical services for all approval processes.
