HMSHost is split into two entities - HMSHost North America, which covers the US and Canada, and HMSHost International which covers all other locations. HMSHost has been operating Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport with 22  f&b units since September, 2012 and operating 8 f&b units in Antalya Airport in coordination with İÇTur since April, 2015.

We are looking for Finance Coordinator who will be;

Supporting the European Finance Controller and local management in the broadest sense. Providing support to ensure coordination of the company's general financial, monitoring of income and expenditure accounts, preparing daily-monthly-annual financial reports. Managing general e-mail messages.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee Cash handling and lodgement to the bank
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts
  • Control bank accounts
  • Review, scan and file of invoices
  • Issue and receive e-invoices
  • Prepare the P&L and Balance sheet, weekly sales report, monthly reports
  • Ensure coordination of Micros system, new generation till printers,
  • Managing Cisbox
  • Verifying invoices
  • Contact suppliers in case of discrepancies.
  • Implement company processes and procedures
  • Managing the Cashier agreement process with HR
  • Organize month-end process
  • Monthly AR-AP, BA-BS reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly accruals
  • Make spot check inspection to cash till
  • Report to Amsterdam office for monthly analysis of the results
  • Be the first responsible person to develop budgets, forecasts and business plan for the company (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements)
  • Support the European Controller to perform the analysis of monthly operating results against budget with supporting schedules and presenting findings and recommendations to the General Manager
  • Reporting to the landlord and to the franchisors
  • Being first point of contact for the local independent auditor.
  • To ensure coordination of Rödl&Partner .
  • Additional responsibilities, duties and projects as assigned
  • Be the first responsible person for Hyperion Financial Reporting, GM Reports, Financial presentations
  • Coordinate tax audit process with Rodl and Amsterdam.
  • Organize annual General Assembly meetings and make documentation with trade registry & tax office & notary. 
  • Follow up insurance policies
  • Make office petty cash transactions
  • Provide information to Asmterdam HQ in all aspects of Business
  • Performing other work related to the above on the orders of the General Manager

Qualification & Experience

  • Language required: fluent English. Any other European language is an additional asset 
  • Bachelor or University degree
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting & forecasting, local law& rules
  • Proficient user of standard office software packages (especially Excel)
  • 3-4 years prior experience in the field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Participate in and facilitate group meetings
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes.
  • Residing in Antalya
