Telecommunications Solution Test Engineer
About Job
Be responsible for the test and verification of all scenarios of the NCE solution and provide pre-sales technical support for global market projects. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Qualify for global key projects, present the value of products to customers, communicate with customers, and demonstrate related products and solutions to ensure that the solutions meet or exceed customer requirements.
2. As a bridge between R&D and customers, deeply understand customers' networks and services, help R&D personnel build product value capabilities based on customers' scenarios and key requirements, resolve issues in market projects, and continuously improve the competitiveness of products and solutions.
3. Be responsible for the scenario-based test and verification of key NCE datacom solutions for customers, and ensure that the test and verification are passed.
Skill requirements
1. Have good communication skills in English. Experience in customer-facing work is preferred.
2. Experience in customer-facing project management and assurance in the communications field is preferred. Be able to support and ensure that projects are carried out as planned and risks are controlled.
3. Experience in software product management or solution test is preferred. Be able to complete end-to-end solution tests, and have good problem analysis and resolution capabilities.
4. Have the ability to collaborate and innovate, be passionate about technologies, be willing to study technologies, be able to quickly accept and master new technologies, and have strong independent and proactive learning capabilities.
Professional knowledge
1. Have a good command of the technical principles and functions of core datacom products such as routers, switches, and firewalls, and the architecture concepts and application scenarios of SDN/NFV. Have experience in product R&D, testing, or market expansion, and be able to understand customers' network pain points.
2. Have a good command of network management protocols such as SNMP and NETCONF/YANG, and the logic of southbound and northbound interfaces of the controller. Have a solid foundation in network protocols (such as BGP, IS-IS, SRv6, and MPLS) and be able to analyze networks and locate faults.
3. Have general knowledge of the hardware architecture and mainstream configurations of general-purpose servers and AI/Computing power servers. Have a good command of basic system installation, network commissioning, and O&M management. Have general knowledge of the application scenarios and deployment key points of technologies such as containerization (Docker) and virtualization. Be able to independently or cooperate with the R&D O&M team to complete the deployment, joint commissioning, and function verification of controller products in physical and cloud environments.
