As Huhtamaki–Elif Plastik, a company operating in Istanbul/Esenyurt with approximately 1,000 employees, we are seeking a Operational Controlling Supervisor to join our Finance Department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a related field. 
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Cost Accounting, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing industries. 
• Proven experience in manufacturing costing, budgeting and operational controlling processes. 
• Strong knowledge of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles. 
• Hands-on experience with SAP and other ERP systems; experience in SAP CO/FI modules is must Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
• Good command of English is must Experience with using technology and analytics platforms to drive process improvements and reporting excellence (Business Intelligence (BI), AI-enabled analytics, and data automation solutions)

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate, analyze and report product, process and manufacturing costs.
• Manage monthly cost closing activities and ensure the accuracy of cost-related transactions. 
• Perform product, customer and process profitability analyses and provide decision-support insights to management. 
• Conduct efficiency analyses, identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions. 
• Monitor, analyze and report inventory levels, inventory turnover and inventory accuracy. 
• Coordinate period-end inventory count processes, analyze variances, and support related accounting transactions. 
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, and Quality departments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of cost data. 
• Prepare cost analyses and reports required for internal and external audit processes. 
• Take an active role in process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives. 
• Ensure the effective use of cost accounting modules within ERP systems and contribute to system enhancement projects. 
• Support the development and implementation of new processes, systems, and reporting tools. 
• Provide cost-related input and analysis for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.
