Qualifications

Candidate roles will take place mainly at large scale Telecom projects at Major Turkish and International Telecom operators within their biggest DWH/BI projects

Bachelor or Masters degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Related field.

Knowledge about ODI 12C / Informatica 

Knowledge and experience with SQL and PL/SQL

Knowledge and experience in ETL and reporting performance/tuning

Knowledge about backup recovery, Unix Shell Scripting,

Fluent in English

Ability to work in a team with excellent coordination and communication skills

No military service obligation (or postponed for 2 years) for the male candidates.Job 

Description

Interacts proactively with analysts and other users to define requirements in accordance with a business need

Analyze existing system/source systems and prepare documentation.

Perform data profiling and prevent data quality problems (by applying associated methodologies and test procedures)

Create function/design specifications based on customer or internally defined requirements

Prepare source to target mapping documents

Design and develop data warehouse star schema and multidimensional cubes, based on business requirements

Design, build and implement ETL programs to load, cleanse and transform source data into data warehouse systems

Design, build and implement data marts into data warehouse systems

Perform coding as defined by design specifications, conform to documented programming standards and deliver within the projected schedule.

Aggregating data from multiple sources into a data warehouse in a heterogeneous data environment.

Perform unit testing to ensure design specs have been met and defects resolved.

Provide scalable solutions to manage large volume imports and implement operational procedures as necessary.

Tune queries/ETL Codes and database performance for the applications within the development environment

Take technical responsibilities about stress testing, benchmark products and Proof of Concepts

Deployment into production (development to test to prod.)

Keep system documentation up to date

Review the work (designs, code and test specifications) of peers as required 

Provide end-user support for assigned applications
