Import Specialist

We are looking for an “Import Specialist” to be part of our growing team to help to build and to improve our growth plan. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership and a "get things done" attitude.

What You’ll Do

• Sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with a freight forwarder, logistic provider & importer to constantly strive for the most competitive price and good service level
• Managing import processes via customs consultancy firms
• Complete knowledge of import transaction, 3PL companies such as vendors, warehouses, forwarders
• Maintaining relationships between customs brokers & bonded warehouses
• Ensuring that all end-to-end projects among suppliers and stakeholders
• Monitoring the performance and KPI management or 3rd parties
• Complete knowledge of all documentation & procedures required during importation
• Regulatory & legislation know-how in terms of customs operations
• Build trust and effective relationships with cross-functional teams

About You

• Strong analytical problem solving and result oriented approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong skills in MS Office® Suite, especially Excel
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills

Minimum Requirements

• University degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade or related areas (Food Engineer is a plus)
• Minimum 2 years experience in import operations (FMCG background is preferred)
• Excellence in Turkish and English communication skills, both written and verbal
