Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-orientedCredit & Collection Consultant to join our Credit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer credit risk, monitoring accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining healthy cash flow while building strong customer relationships.

This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the company's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Management

• Review and assess customer credit applications and supporting financial documentation.
• Perform credit risk analysis and recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
• Monitor customer credit exposure and proactively identify potential risks.
• Conduct regular credit reviews and maintain accurate customer credit files.
• Support the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.

Collections Management

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances through phone calls, emails, and meetings.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and other departments.
• Negotiate payment plans and collection strategies when necessary.
• Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate actions to management.
• Maintain accurate collection records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit Control, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Credit Risk Management.
• Strong understanding of credit assessment and collection processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
