Overview:

The Operations & Maintenance Manager is responsible for all aspects of solar farm operations, including team management, personnel safety, oversee daily work activities, review work schedules, scheduling maintenances, maintaining project availability, the training and safety of all technicians, and communicating with the management team. In addition, the site supervisor is responsible for establishing site and individual goals, adhering to the site budget, including disciplinary actions, annual reviews and act as role model in field environment to ensure all procedures are followed as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:

• Experience working with current solar technology preferred
• Computer experience required, creating spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Software Programs
• Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends
• Provide direction and on-the-job training for less experienced technicians
• Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and standard design/construction practices
• Knowledge of Thermal graphic Electrical Inspection
• Experience with PV maintenance, including DC systems, AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring
• Experience with the operation of various SCADA systems
• Skilled in the use of testing equipment and tools such as Thermographic Electrical Inspection, I-V Curve Tracing, Meggers, and Ground Fault Detection
• Strong Analytical and Diagnostic capabilities to troubleshoot and correct problems found
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA, and other standard practices
• Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams / schematics
• Minimum BSc degree in Engineering or similar related fields
• >5 Years of similar experiences, minimum of 1-year current or previous experience in a supervisory capacity preferred
• Fluent in spoken and writtenEnglish
