İtameks Automotive is the Tier 1 manufacturer and supplier to 11 global automotive brands outside Turkey. A clear focus is being put onto the growing market of OEM line feed supplies of all types of floor mats (textile, rubber, TPE) in and outside Turkey.

Qualifications required:

• University graduation from related fields, preferrably from industrial engineer,
• Excellent command of written and spoken of English
• At least 5 years experience supply chain divisons (international logistics, foreign trade, warehouse management in a OEM Tier 1  supplier)
• Experience with global automotive OEM-Projects
• Strong negotiating and analyzing skills,
• Ability to effectively organize workload and meet deadlines,
• Excellent communication skills, decision making and problem solving capabilities, as well as ability to perform under stress
• Open to progress, self motivated and high energy
• Military obligation should be completed for male candidates
• Living or willing to live in Asian Side of İstanbul or Dilovasi area

İŞ TANIMI

Reporting directly to the President of Itameks Automotive, the ideal candidate will be responsible for Logistics and Strategic Purchasing responbilities as below:

• Managing the incoming, deliveries of customer orders and customer portals
• Organizing shipment of imports and exports and all related processes in order to avoid from any delivery problem
• Analysing the orders, defining the weekly/quarterly/yearly plan and organizing / managing the order process
• Improving the Material Resource Planing system in place
• Overseeing incoming goods and related inspections.
• Managing custom clearance issues in a timely matter
• Maintain all day-to-day activities including expense control, supply tracking, inventory control and purchase order execution
• Tracking returns
• Organizing logistics of imported goods and all import process in order to avoid from any delivery problem
• Keeping the lowest inventory level and insuring %100 supply performance to the customers.
• Managing the warehouse operations following OEM's requirements
• Assisting in inventory planning and control processes
• Defining purchasing standard operating procedures
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and freight companies,
• Responsible for all strategic purchasing  activities
• Responsible for the purchase of all components/materials, services and assets.
• Continuous cost improvements through analysing of existing and new suppliers.
• Responsible for the supplier assessment (Quality, Costs and Delivery Performance)
• Acting as Project buyer to support the OE project teams
• Responsible for negotiations with suppliers and contract reviews
• Managing the international and national tenders plus supplier selections for new projects.
• Responsible for all supply chain KPIs including but not restricted to:
  • Delivery performances to all automotive customers,
  • Inventory turns,
  • Strategic purchasing performance
