What you will do

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager for Middle East, Africa & Turkey and support them to deliver the recruitment strategy across the region. We are a forward-looking team, positioned to make a dramatic impact on the culture and growth of Johnson Controls supporting our business and HR team in hiring the best talent with a focus on quality, diversity, speed and cost.

Recruiting Specialism: Technical Sales and Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)

Language Fluency: English & Turkish is essential

You will be accountable for the delivery of end to end recruitment, taking responsibility of all aspects of operational recruiting (vacancy briefing, advertising, sourcing, interviews and offer negotiation) executing pro-active sourcing strategies aimed at generating a candidate flow that meets diversity and our overall recruiting goals.

This is a new role to join our team based in Istanbul. The team's primary focus is on supporting the recruitment strategy across Turkey, South Africa, Egypt and Israel. You will play a key role in the development of strategies and solutions to develop sustainable candidate pipelines for our business.

How you will do it

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will apply your recruitment knowledge and market experience to apply the right sourcing strategies to deliver pipelines of qualified candidates to achieve your direct hiring targets. Johnson Controls operate in very specialized and competitive candidate markets, this means your approach will include building up a deep knowledge of the competitor landscape enabling you to proactively headhunt and identify potential candidates rather than relying on direct applications, this will be supported by championing and promoting the employee referral scheme and building up our talent brand through our media channels to make Johnson Controls the employer of choice in each local market.

Your excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills will enable you to drive a customer focused approach, managing your hiring managers and candidates with updates on progress and status. Your drive to deliver best in class service will ensure you are providing commercial value with insight into the local markets that feedback into your recruitment strategies. Your attention to detail will enable you to keep the data integrity of our systems up to date in real time, providing you with the right data to influence the next steps in your recruitment process.

Desired Skills and Experience

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years' experience in a recruitment agency or in-house/internal recruitment role
• Proven track record of market mapping, headhunting and direct sourcing and candidate networking
• Foundational understanding of Boolean search language and how those search principles apply to both internet and database searches
• Technology aptitude ? experience of managing candidates through an applicant tracking system (Taleo)
• Experience in stakeholder management in a multicultural environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, across all levels and environments
• Self-starter, tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique & optimize performance
• Fluent language skills in English & Turkish

• Experience of Engineering and/or Technical Sales recruitment
