 QUALIFICATIONS 

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Field (Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering is preferred),
• Fluent level of English,
• At least 8 years experience in quality and 2 years management experience,
• Hands-on experience with AS9100 and AS9102 requirements,
• Strong communication and management skills,
• Must have strong background in GD&T, blueprint reading,
• Must be able to delegate and monitor tasks in accordance to the business needs of quality,
• Must be completely trustworthy, transparent, and open to change management,
• Experience with Aerospace OEMs, Suppliers, and/or Customers is a plus,
• Work experience as DQR as per AS13001 is a plus,
• Knowledge of deploying lean principal tools is plus.

Role Overview 

The main responsibility of this position is supervising the Quality Engineers (QE) team, who are matrix-based part of the Value Streams. This role performs the technical and administrative guidance and management of the Quality Engineers, manage coordination with other quality units, other departments in the Company, as well as Customer Quality Departments.

JOB DESCRIPTION  

• Plans and supervises daily activities of QEs to ensure adherence to established department, organization, and customer specification parameters,
• Take role in the quotation phases to understand, verify and ensure that customer quality expectations and requirements are acceptable and achievable,
• Manage and ensure the First Article Inspection (FAI/DFAI) activities are in line with the AS9102 requirements,
• Manage and ensure that customer quality expectations are fulfilled throughout the product life-cycle by applying the necessary quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, PPAP, APQP, Key characteristic management, etc),
• Manage, ensure and lead any customer complaint and/or quality escape is handled properly, all necessary actions are taken, all Root Cause Analysis are done properly on a timely manner and presented to the customer quality department and followed afterwards,
• Manage and follow daily, weekly and monthly quality KPIs, ensure necessary actions are taken for the KPIs below target,
• Lead and manage quality improvement projects in the company,
• Act as the main quality contact for customer supplier quality representatives,
• Coordinate quality engineering issues with other quality units and other departments,
• Follow and lead the technical improvement of all the quality engineers and internal Delegated Quality Representatives (DQR),
• Lead and manage DQRs and DPRV (designated product release verification) activities as per AS13001.
