For 60 years, our company has been providing services in the mining sector both domestically and internationally, serving as the primary raw material supplier for the glass, ceramic, paint, and plastic industries. We have been growing succesfully our service to the plastic industries and are therefore seeking a"Process and Business Development Engineer” who will contribute value to our "Plastic Sector" processes and projects through their knowledge and experience.

General Qualifications:

• Graduated from university with minimum a Bachelor degrees in Polymer, Material, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering
• A master's degree in polymer materials and/or similar job experience from the plastic industry.
• Preferably engaged in projects involving mineral-filled compound/masterbatch in the plastic industry and gained experience in production and/or sales.
• Experienced in plastic conversion methods such as film extrusion and/or injection moulding fields in terms of production and/or sales.
• Proficient in plastic material testing processes and experienced in interpreting test results. Specialization in compounds and masterbatches is an advantage.
• Experienced in the process and business development aspects of the plastic sector.
• Able to reside in the central district of Aydın or Çine.
• Proficient in English with good foreign language skills, preferably with a knowledge of German as a second language.
• Capable of active driving.
• Able to travel without restrictions.

Expected Competencies:

• Transfer knowledge in the fields of Process, Business Development, and R&D of the plastic sector to align with customer requirements in the market.
• Contribute to meeting sector demands by participating in masterbatch/compound projects.
• Operate a pilot plant for process facilitation and engage in business development activities.
• Engagement in new product development through collaboration with production teams in projects
• Research in areas such as polymer processing, plastic part design, polymer composites, separation processes, polymer chemistry, and rubber processing.
• Possess knowledge of equipment and auxiliary materials used in testing phases.

Job Description:

• Investigate polymer, mineral, and additive materials used or potentially used in the plastic sector, conduct research, testing, and processing for new applications and products desired by the sector.
• Contribute to R&D efforts in obtaining Masterbatch and compound from plastic production stages.
• Operate the production process of Masterbatch and compound based on gains from R&D studies.
• Engage in business development studies to test the compatibility of existing materials for the production of new materials.
• Initiate the process of producing the most suitable additive for customer requests based on sector demands.
• Collaborate with the production department to design, analyze, and characterize materials for the production of the most suitable raw material in response to customer needs.
• Periodically report on personal processes and business development activities.
• Conduct research to make the produced raw materials usable across various sectors.
• Plan production to ensure the smooth execution of the production process.
