QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Marketing & Business Intelligence Specialist who have the following qualifications to join our team in our Headquarter in Istanbul:

 

• Bachelor Degree level education

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing

• Previous experience in a multinational company

• Professional requirements:

     - Brand and reputation management understanding

     - Marketing communications understanding

     - Buying behaviour and customer segment understanding

     - Customer segment and market analysis

     - Media and publicity understanding

     - Strategic planning and project implementation experience

 

Purpose of the role:

 

Marketing & Business Intelligence Specialist supports the achievement of KONE’s business objectives and contributes to the ongoing development of the front line’s business performance by utilizing an organization-wide marketing and communications activities plans that will improve the organization's competitive position & grow the business in the specific country/countries.

They may also direct and control communication activities in order to enhance the organization’s reputation with the public, the media and employees and play a main role in the lead generation that will impact on the business growth in each front line.

He/she will also have CRM key user role and is a data super user who ensures that data is managed in accordance with the appropriate KONE Way process requirements and that all data adheres to the Master Data Management team standards (Appropriate, Adequate and Accurate data) as well as KONE quality requirements. 

 

Main responsibilities and key activities:

• Participate in business planning with the front line management team to develop a marketing and communications activities plan that is based on regional marketing strategies and local business requirements and consistent with KONE’s overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives

• Support the achievement of business goals by managing KONE's reputation and brand according to global & regional guidelines

• Manage KONE key messages for all target groups according to the regional guidelines

• Ensure successful People leadership and development of the Marketing and Communications team

• Co-operate with KMEA Marcom Regional Team and share best practices and other marketing and communications professionals

• Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies  (for example printing houses, event agencies, advertising agencies, pr agencies, graphic designers)

• Excellent understanding of using different marketing and communications tools and channels for effective communication. Applying existing global processes, channels and tools when applicable. Active co-operation with KMEA  teams in developing new processes, channels and tools

• Plan and manage locally the internal and external marketing activates according to the regional guidelines and utilize global concepts and tools

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of target audience, highly effective writing style and expertise in high-impact messaging to a wide audience within the front line

• Follow-up front line activities and regularly provide KPIs’ ,information and feedback about the activities to the KMEA regional marketing and communications team

 

- Marketing communications and brand management:

• Participate in developing marketing material and activities together with KMEA marketing communications team through e.g. project reference and steering groups

• Providing the marketing activities plan with the required budget yearly to insure supporting the sales growth in each market

• Manage & execute the localization of marketing material and activities

• Create demand, support sales and increase customer loyalty by implementing and following-up marketing activities (e.g. direct mailing, events, advertising, web marketing) for the local market and customer segments

• Liaise with other teams across the organization (particularly in the sales and customer service functions) to ensure that marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall regional objectives

 

- Internal communications:

• Support KONE’s objectives through internal communications:  communicating KMEA company vision and strategic development programs to employees according to KMEA guidelines

• Demonstrate expertise in dealing with front line senior & mid management and  sales team through a high level of communication skills to ensure executing the yearly marketing & business intelligent objectives

• Maintain a high level of collaboration and team spirit with a clear understanding of different communication preferences to ensure delivering the targeted messages

 

- External communications:

• Provide and distribute local news according to KMEA guidelines and regulations. Support global news with localized content and media distribution when possible

• Manage crisis PR and critical publicity according to separate crisis communications guidelines

• Monitor local KONE news and publicity in the country

Serve media and journalists by providing answers and interviewees

 

- Business intelligence:

• Plan and lead market, competitor and customer intelligence activities: Monitor, analyse, and evaluate local market trends and segments, customer/influencer behavior, and competitor activities to identify market opportunities

• Plan & execute yearly online & off line activities to increase Leads in the local market according to  KMEA Lead Generation strategy

• Attend  the local events to increase the network of KONE and to express any interest in KONE in the local market

• Scan the market to highlight the right segment to grow

• Full collaboration with Front line’s sales team to ensure increase the qualified leads

 

- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

• Facilitates the correct creation and completion of data records in line with global process requirements of the data source (i.e. customers; suppliers; products; material; equipment)

• Ensures data is entered correctly, according to the system specifications and on a timely basis

• Executes minor changes in the master database (i.e. updating information on local level data)

• Gathers all relevant information for data creation and change forms, including contacting local finance departments and/or customers, suppliers etc.

• Uses specific data management tools that require an advanced level of understanding in master data management and specific competences
