Job description

We are expanding our Trading Team and looking to welcome experienced traders to join us in this journey. We are flexible with the location of the candidates, can be home based. 

The candidates will be responsible for;

·        Sourcing & trading in Petrochemical Products, mainly, 

• Olefins (C2, C3, C4)
• Oil Products & Base Oils & Oleo chemicals
• Glycols / Monomers / Oxo Alcohols
• Plasticizers (DOTP, DOA, TOTM, DINP, …)
• Polymers ( PE, PP, PVC, PS)
• Polyurethanes ( MDI, TDI, Polyols, PU Systems)
• Coating Raw Materials (TiO2, Carbon Blacks, Pigments, Alkyd Resins…)
• Rubber & Rubber Chemicals

·        Own P&L Book and trade globally within the scope of responsibility, 

·        The daily management of logistics, procurement and sales, 

·        Building and managing good relations with customers/suppliers, adding new customers/suppliers to the portfolio, 

·        Frequent visits to the customers, suppliers, service providers and monitoring the market and competition and adding new business ideas and growing the international trading, 

·        Providing trading and market reports on weekly basis to the global Petrochemicals team. 

·        Work closely with logistics and operations teams, management, and colleagues within international offices, 

·        The role will also require extensive analysis of the longer term markets, scenarios and changing fundamentals.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

·        Min bachelor degree in Industrial / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration or related fields, 

·        Min 10 years of proven experience and in depth knowledge of tradingone or more of below lines of business:

• Olefins (Ethylene, Propylene, Butadiene)
• Oil Products & Base Oils & Oleochemicals
• Glycols / Monomers / Oxo Alcohols
• Plasticisers (DOTP, DOA, TOTM, DINP, …)
• Polymers ( PE, PP, PVC, PS)
• Polyurethanes ( MDI, TDI, Polyols, PU Systems)
• Coating Raw Materials (TiO2, Carbon Blacks, Pigments, Alkyd Resins…)
• Rubber & Rubber Chemicals

·        Experience with chartering vessels and making long term contracts with refineries, 

·        In depth knowledge about Trade Finance, LCs and customs operations, 

·        Having a broad base of contacts, and relationships with decision making levels in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals Industry

·        Fluency in spoken and written English and one other language, 

·        Result oriented team worker and eager to take initiative, being well organized and an excellent problem solver. 

·        Good command of computer knowledge and MS Office applications, 

·        Flexible for frequently traveling and having valid driving license,
