Kuartis is looking for Overseas Procurement Engineers to manage the end-to-end?procurement process? of technical goods and services.  The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player. 

At Kuartis, you will be part of world-class engineers and researchers to perform a cross-functional job, collaborating with different engineering teams within the company. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

• Determine equipment and supplies requirements to meet cost savings targets 

• Analyze technical data and specifications of equipment/components 

• Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers 

• Evaluate suppliers based on products, services, and prices 

• Ensure that purchases comply with commercial, legal and contractual obligations (customs and import procedures etc) 

• Communicate with stakeholders regarding the nature and function of purchased equipment 

• Assess supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, service) 

• Provide technical support and assist in the resolution of manufacturing problems as required

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE 

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related field). 

• English proficiency

• Able to analyze technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements  

• Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs 

• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability 

• High-level verbal and written communication skills 

• Good interpersonal and training skills

WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position 

• Experience in overseas purchasing 

• Experience in manufacturing industry
