MEP Chief / Manager

We are seeking a visionary, leadership-oriented, and experienced MEP Chief / Manager to join our team for our upcoming international Superstructure Projects, undertaken by our company, which operates prestigious international construction projects.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering,
• At least 10 years of experience as an MEP Chief or Manager on large-scale international building projects, specifically5-star luxury hotels,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Expertise in the installation, integration, and performance of HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, Building Management Systems (BMS), and high/low voltage electrical systems, with a strong focus on the acoustic and comfort standards of luxury buildings,
• In-depth experience in leading Testing & Commissioning (T&C) phases and successfully handing over complex utility systems,
• Competency in project planning, budget control, MEP subcontractor management, and the technical procurement approval processes of electromechanical equipment,
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to coordinate and negotiate effectively with other construction disciplines, client representatives, and consultants,
• Capability to work under an expat status on international project sites.

Job Description

• Ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automation works are executed in line with the budget, schedule, approved shop drawings, and quality specifications,
• Monitoring, guiding, and managing the daily/weekly site performance, workforce resources, material supply, and progress of MEP subcontractors,
• Coordinating the superposition and site installation of MEP works with structural and interior fit-out (decor) disciplines to guarantee clash-free and flawless execution,
• Managing technical submittal approvals, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and site receiving inspections of electromechanical equipment and materials,
• Leading the testing, commissioning, and handover processes of all building services, ensuring seamless integration between MEP systems (including BMS and fire-life safety scenarios),
• Conducting technical meetings with the client and consultant engineers, and managing MEP-related RFIs and variations,
• Coordinating quantity measurements, progress billing reviews, and the compilation of provisional/final acceptance handover documentation for all MEP scopes.
