QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Hostess, you will work in luxury restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus Istanbul, Hotel.
Duties & Responsibilities
To demonstrate a pride in the workplace and a high level of commitment
To ensure that HACCP Standards are maintained and carried out.
Demonstrates security conscious behaviors in respect of guests, colleagues and hotel property / welfare and reports suspicious circumstances to the Manager.
Provide excellent service at all times to all of our guests.
To ensure that reservations are handled in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist guests courteously and efficiently.
Set up tables as per the standard.
To collect and update Guests’ database.
Assist in training.
To organize the menus for each service and ensure they are cleaned and in good condition, check menus stock level.
To present menus and wine lists and also assist in service during meal period.
Administrative duties including daily report, competition check, ordering of office supplies.
Communicate with Kitchen for any guests’ special request and dietary requirements.
To wish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming.
To have role of good Brand ambassador
Support company's philosophy and company culture
Proficiency knowledge of English spoken and written language as well as Turkish language. Russian and Arabic language knowledge is a plus.
Using Seven Rooms, Open Table, Seven Rooms and Microsoft Outlook
Demonstrates a high standard of verbal communication, social skills and up selling skills.
Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment.
Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
