We are looking for a “Purchasing Supervisor” for one of the multinational business partner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in purchasing process experience preferably in cosmetics, pharmaceutical or FMCG sector,
• Experienced in indirect purchasing, logistics, planning, stock control,
• Experience in managing Source to Pay processes in a multinational company,
• Strong negotiation and communication skills,
• Proactive and have analytical mindset,
• Positive attitude, result oriented approach and strong team player,
• Excellent command of spoken and written English,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION



• Execution of all in-direct purchasing operations, work in coordination with units demanding products/services and follow-up orders and ensure coordination
• Making all external procurement in cooperation with related functions under the supervision of P&A Supervisor. (packaging materials, other printed materials, cleaning services, fleet etc.)
• Improving costs and suggesting optimal alternatives to related functions.
• Performing the purchasing operations and activities within the framework of the principle of purchasing; the most suitable product for the most economic price in the shortest period with longer terms
• Ensure to support transparent and fair tenders to have the best prices and the best quality
• Cooperation with insurance broker in the area of property insurance, civil liability, transportation and accident insurance and follow up the necessary work with the supervision of the P&A supervisor.
• Be the key contact person for the global team for Turkey and locally support global purchase
• Identify and source new suppliers and vendors,
• Monitor and reduce purchase variances to meet profit objectives,
• Prepare and lead supplier negotiations and business meetings
•  Develop and manage current purchasing processes and systems
• Measure and manage the vendor and supplier cost, quality and delivery performance,
•  Preparation of supplier specifications, organization of tenders, support preparation of  supplier contracts.
