MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically, MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore, we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment's performance and ensures its ease of operation in our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition, we have designed our organization to deliver successfully and on-time-demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally, MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 270 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated in Electrical Engineering.
• Having a minimum of 5 years of hands-on MEP experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP services, project applications, handover process management and operational training background.
• Understanding construction works and responsibilities and familiarity with working rough conditions.
• Strong written and verbal skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with technical deliverables (such as material submittals, method statements, RFIs, MIR & WIR, T&C, O&M, etc.) according to project specifications. This includes following up with project consultants to obtain their approval and seek technical clarifications if necessary.
• Ability to manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing vendors, building relationships, and negotiating prices within the project budget.
• Ability to follow design drawings, IFC, shop drawings, and as-builts within the design team.
• Coordination skills with the site team for equipment installation, design, inspections, etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of LV ELV systems and ability to adjust the existing system requirements to local regulations.
• Ability to communicate with clients to adjust expectations and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

DUTIES

• Understand Project specifications and contracts and follow the project according to the work schedule.
• Ability to review and revise blueprints and work with CAD files.
• Experience in electrical design and calculation.
• Knowledge in process instrumentation, automation, BMS systems and Scada.
• Do market research and equipment selection that meets project specifications, prepare material submittal forms, compliance statements and procurement coordination.
• Promote the substitution of materials and methods with less expensive alternatives, without sacrificing functionality.
• Experience in Testing Commissioning phases and ability to manage the process directly with clients and engineers.
• Assisting Site teams on necessary cases based on system design changes, providing calculations and case studies including risk management.
