Import&Export Operations Responsible (Fixed Term)

• Fixed Term Contract until 31.03.2020
• University degree, preferably in Foreign Trade or Business Administration
• Min.2 years experience in foreign trade operations, preferably in automotive sector
• Knowledge of customs and foreign trade legislation
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience in using SAP is a plus
• Advanced level of English and/or German
• Eager for team work, good communication and coordination skills
• Analytical thinking, solution oriented and able to take responsibility in his/her own area of activity
• Able to work in a stressful environment, due to high number and variety of daily transactions

İŞ TANIMI

• Perform & follow-up import operations for all bus productive materials; including document control, invoice system entry, job order to customs broker, follow-up and analysis of job order status 
• Coordination of all the internal (Logistics, Finance, Accounting etc.) departments and service providers (Transport companies, Customs Broker etc.)
• Prepare, apply for and follow up special import permissions and Provide all necessary documents requested by customs broker needed for importation
• Follow up materials & stock in temporary storage areas and bonded warehouses
• Offer solutions to problematic situations related to the import processes and ensure that all activities are run in compliance with customs legislation and Daimler internal norms and regulations
• Check the content of customs declarations and closing documents and approve import related costs when necessary
• Follow up guarantees and refunds
• Guide other departments related to import operations in his/her area of responsibility and support internal projects, prepare reports when necessary
