Essentra Components are a global market leader in plastic injection moulded, vinyl dip moulded and metal components. Part of Essentra PLC, an established FTSE 250 business, working within industries such as automotive, construction, electronics and medical.

We supply low cost injection moulded components used by manufacturing companies in their manufacturing process. Our primary target is B2B Manufacturers i.e. companies who build products used by other manufacturing companies. To do this we combine the flexibility and expertise of being a manufacturer along with the broad range and high service ethos of being a distributor. We operate in 27 countries worldwide with 11 manufacturing facilities and 24 logistics centres which together serve around 90,000 customers.

A vacancy has arisen for a “Purchasing Executive” within the Supply Chain department at Essentra Components(Silivri/İstanbul/Turkey).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably from Mechanical, Metallurgy or Industrial Engineering departments of universities
• At least 6 years of experience in a purchasing position
• Knowledge of foreign trade processes (especially import)
• Good command of written and spoken English Good command of both verbal and written English
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate
• Ability to work in a team and have leadership qualities
• Driver's license (actively driving)
• No restrictions on domestic and international travel
• Living or be able to in Silivri, Beylikdüzü, Selimpaşa, Büyükçekmece, Avcılar and Çorlu

Job Description

• Supplying all kinds of raw materials, semi-finished products and commercial products required for the production and sale of the company
• Execution of International and Domestic Purchasing transactions
• Cost analysis and price negotiations
• Finding, creating and commissioning an alternative supplier
• Supplier Performance and System evaluations and monitoring
• Contributing to the continuous improvement / development goals of the department
