Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields
• Minimum 7 years of experience in category management 
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Proven record of successful vendor relations and product assessment
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels
• Superior analytical skills: Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs
• Ability to think strategically with excellent attention to detail
• Experience defining and delivering innovative ideas to drive long term results
•  Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Ready to work at flexible working hours
• Ready to be mobile (visiting fish markets all around Turkey, especially Istanbul Fish Market)
• No military service obligation for male candidates

Job Description:

• To find the high quality products that the customer needs and to make commercial agreements in order to reach the numerical targets of the company.
• To follow the market dynamics continuously and to make price adjustments in accordance with market requirements by negotiating with suppliers.
• To analyze the numerical data on a daily, monthly and yearly basis in order to achieve the department's goals, to take the necessary actions with the category management team when needed and to put them into practice.
• To prepare special prices or promotions on specified products for specified periods in accordance with advertising activity plan.
• To take part in new product projects that will increase sales and keep customer demand and satisfaction at an optimum level.
• To manage customer requests and demands and to participate in customer panels in order to keep customer satisfaction at the maximum level.
• To solve all kinds of problems in product delivery by meeting with suppliers. To create solutions to all issues and problems faced by stores during the procurement process.
• To work in accordance with the ISO 22000 quality assurance system and the company's Food Safety Policy.
• To examine the products of the category in accordance with the market conditions and to make seasonal changes and to determine common goals; examine market customer trends.
• To research, find and develop products in foreign markets in order to differentiate product diversity and increase competitiveness.
• To keep the sustainability and traceability criteria at the focus of the business.
