Legal & Compliance Director

We are looking for a;

LEGAL & COMPLIANCE DIRECTOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures the development and implementation of ethics & legal compliance programs in the company
• Coordinate MG’s risk assesment activities and ensures compliance and legal risks are managed
• Ensures local and international legislations & regulations that affect company activities are monitored
• Establish and monitor a Regulatory Control System in accordance with the current sanction laws and other trade compliance requirements
• Manage & Monitor the activities of Quality, HSE, Regulatory Affairs functions.
• Builds the compliance culture within MG by implementing Compliance and Ethical Policies including Whistleblowing, Conflict of Interest etc, providing & customizing mandatory trainings for the related employees
• Represents MG in IFRA Chemical Control Legislations Task Force and IFRA REACH Task Force, Representing Turkish Fragrance&Flavor Association in IFRA Europe Regional Committee and IFRA National Associations Network
• Establish and grow relationships with relevant governmental organizations, NGO’s and other Trade Bodies including certification organizations
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law
• Preferably minimum 5 years of experience  in Legal and Compliance positions
• FMCG industry undestanding and knowledge is a +
• Experience in multinational companies is a +
• Understanding and knowledge of the legal compliance, regulatory and business environment (anti-bribery, economic and trade sanctions, export controls, AML, knowledge of Turkish and EU Competition Law regulations etc.).
• Proven experience in acting as a compliance business partner proactive and self-motivated profile
• Capable to cope with different job disciplines as a good team player
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Flexibility to manage multiple time-sensitive matters
• Excellent command of English both in verbal and written
• No military obligations for male candidates
