QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or a related field
  • Experience in legal, foreign legal transactions, and compliance roles (multinational company experience is preffered)
  • Residing in and around in IZMIT
  • Willing to travel abroad
  • Experience in company contract management is preferred
  • Stong understanding of corporate law, regulatory compliance and international business practices
  • Ability to speak and write in English (Korean as additional language is preferred)
  • Knowledge of Turkish legal system and regulations, as well as experience in international law and cross-border transactions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making, negotiation skills
  • Ability to work solution-focused, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Description:

  • Overseeing legal and compliance matters for the company’s operations, including overseas and local subsidiaries
  • Supporting various issues related to Human Resources and Administrative Affairs, responding to the needs of employees, helping to ensure workplace order
  • Conducting legal research, interpreting laws and regulations, and advising on legal implications of business decisions
  • Providing legal guidance and support to management and staff on a wide range of issues, including contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property and corporate governance
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the company on potential impact and necessary actions
  • Coordinatite with external legal counsel as needed to address complex legal matters and litigation
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Managing regulatory fillings, permits and licences required for operations
  • Collaborating with external business partners and represent company well
  • Investigating and resolving legal disputes, isues and violations as they arise
