Key Accountabilities  

• To ensure the quality of the overall dining service at all food outlets on the ship.
• To ensure the food presentation, the service, the cleanliness and the atmosphere are in complience with Sanitation standards.
• To maintain correct equipments par levels.
• To ensure Guests recieve professional and enjoyable experience while dining.
• To ensure all Guests recieve the food they order and the way it was requested. 
• To comply with Explora Journeys Sanitation Standards in all Cruise dining areas. 
• To providee services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
• To improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, to provide guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
• To manage day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
• To meet with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction. 
• To supervise and to manage employees and all day-to-day operations.
• To maintain service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas.

Qualifications 

• Fluent English, oral and written. Any additional European language is considered an advantage. 
• High School certificate; 
• Service oriented with excellent guest interaction skills. 
• Outgoing and positive attitude.
• Proven ability to work in a harmonious productive team environment. 
• Food Safety Proficiency certificate issued by recognized Authority (HACCP) 
• STCW95 certification is compulsory before on boarding (Basic fire fighting, personal survival techniques, elementary first aid, personal security and social responsibility).

Visa Requirements  

• Possess a valid passport and when possible a seaman book copy.
