Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) HQ is the Theatre Land Component and Land Advocate responsible for coordinating and synchronizing NATO and Partner Land Forces by enabling land domain readiness, interoperability, standardization, and competency; on order deploys headquarters elements to provide planning, coordination, and command capabilities to Allied forces.
The Support Directorate is responsible for providing LANDCOM with organizational structures, personnel, logistics, communications and information systems and base support.
Essential Qualifications
- Higher Secondary education in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 5 years post related experience
- Experience in secretarial and office work, administrative procedures and practices, records and document management
- Experience in the organization of conferences, meetings and social events and/or office administration
- Well-developed communication skills (written, oral and presentation) and a sense of diplomacy when dealing with persons inside and outside at all levels and of different nationalities
- Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work as part of multidisciplinary team, deliver results, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyse work requirements related to various taskings and to memorize related information and details
- English Language - NATO Standard Language Proficiency 3322
- Experience of working in an international or multinational environment
- Knowledge of Host Nation Language
Job Description
- Responsible for the administration and management of the Office of the DCOS Support
- Processes all office correspondence. Ensures that the preparation and handling of all documents for signature by DCOS Support are carried out in accordance with appropriate NATO administrative procedure guidance documents
- Takes notes and minutes and keeps records of meetings
- Contributes to the tracking process of taskers
- Handles telephone calls and electronic mail of the DCOS Support
- Acts as the Document Control officer for the Office of the DCOS Support
- Maintains the DCOS Support's calendar
- Processes all invitations, prepares guest lists, seating plans, and coordinates support service and finance for social events hosted by DCOS Support
- Administers and manages the Office of DCOS Support
- Provides and maintains office supplies and stationery
- Hosts high ranking visitors and official guests of the DCOS Support

Contract Duration of Employment
Initial contract for 6 months, possibility of another 6 months extension
