Food Safety Engineer

We are currently looking for a Food Safety Engineer to join our CPT Karacabey Team. This person will mainly be responsible for providing technical leadership as quality specialist to resolve internal and external quality defects;  leading and facilitating quality improvement initiatives and leading food safety managment program.

• 3+ years food industry experience in a manufacturing environment,
• Demonstrated experience in HACCP,
• Experience in analysing and interpreting complex data and use it to drive improvement,
• Experience in supplier auditing,
• Cereal platform knowledge,
• Conversant in Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies,
• SAP QM module ,
• Experience in managing Food Safety Management System,     
• Fluency in English is an asset.

İŞ TANIMI

Main Responsibilities;
 

• Ensure all quality management system and food safety management system documentation is updated and effective. Assess the Nestlé Quality.Management System and Food Safety Management System is in place, and is obtaining expected results.
• Ensure on time product release including finished products, raw & pack materials.
• Promote quality awareness across the company bydelivering training for their specific areas of expertise e.g. hygiene, foreign body, haccp, pest control, cleaning validation. Promote NGMP standarts at whole factory as NGMP Champion.
• Implementation of specific quality procedures, instruction and tools, which are directly related to their area of concern and implement Nestle quality instructions e.g.pathogen monitoring.
• Ensures that consumer complaints are properly evaluated and acted upon to prevent re-occurrence.
• Provide Risk Assessment analysis. Manage issues with non-conforming productto assure proper control, minimize losses and ensuring consumer expectations. Undertake root cause analyses for Quality and Food Safety stock holds, disposals and consumer complaints. Implementing robust. sustainable corrective actions which will reduce or eliminate reoccurrence.
• Coordination ofmanagement of changes i to ensure no food safety related risk introduced to site.
• Managing of supplier audits for local suppliers and improvement of suppliers.
