About the Role
The Procurement Manager will lead sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend critical to instant noodle/food production in Turkey. This role ensures uninterrupted supply, cost efficiency, high quality, and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of local and international food supply markets, strong negotiation skills, and experience working in fast-paced production environments.
Workplace: Sakarya / Hendek
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for ingredients, packaging, and indirect materials
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers in Turkey and internationally
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service terms
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC) and Turkish regulations
- Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted supply
- Track procurement KPIs, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives
Qualifications
- 7+ years of procurement experience in FMCG or food manufacturing; multinational company working experience is welcome
- Strong knowledge of local/global supplier markets for ingredients and packaging
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Fluent in English
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier-management skills
