Production Engineer

Production Engineer manages all processes from raw material intake to packaging, ensures quality standards, and implements food safety regulations. They focus on dough preparation, drying/frying optimization, and line efficiency.

Key Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Food or  Chemical in Food Industry
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) food manufacturing facilities, such as noodle, pasta, bakery, or snack food production.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
• Knowledge of Food quality systems
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Strong planning, organization, and team management capabilities
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Completed military service for male candidates

Job Responsibilities

Production and Process Management

• Line Supervision: Manage mixing, sheeting, steaming, frying (or drying), and packaging lines.
• Efficiency: Maximize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and minimize downtime through line balancing.
• Planning: Execute daily and weekly manufacturing targets according to the production plan.

Quality and Food Safety

• Standards: Ensure strict compliance with GMP, HACCP, and ISO food safety management systems.
• Controls: Monitor physical and chemical analyses, including cooking, moisture, and dimensional tests.
• Waste Reduction: Minimize production defects, scrap rates, and material waste.

Maintenance and Improvement

• Troubleshooting: Coordinate periodic machine maintenance and respond quickly to technical breakdowns.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
